Google had already purchased much of the needed land for the Downtown Campus project before reaching out to the City of San Jose. Now they have approval from San Jose to get the last bulk parcels needed to move forward with the project.
This was an important milestone in the timeline of the project to make it a reality as the last major roadblock has been removed.
